You may not know it, but you’re part of a revolution. Never before have there been so many people, organizations, and institutions committed to realizing the vision of a better world. Our networks may not all be connected, but our dream is the same: a world in which no one is left behind, where opportunity is truly equitable, where women, LGBTQ+ people, and people of all races and abilities are treated fairly and with the respect and dignity we all deserve.

 

As a global society, we’re making strides toward equality and justice. But the changes we might wish to see in the world will not happen overnight. As Dr. King said, “The arc of history is long, but it bends toward justice". And if we are going to succeed in our work, perhaps not for ourselves but for future generations, we need to work smarter.  We need to work together.
